Our story began before 1972, when Vettiyattil Hamsa, lovingly known as Pandari Hamsa, started cooking for local functions in the Anjappura locality. With nothing more than a passion for food and a deep respect for Malabar’s culinary heritage, he brought people together—one plate of biriyani at a time.
From those early days of on-site cooking for family events, Parappanad Catering grew organically, fueled by word of mouth and the unforgettable taste of our authentic Malabar Biriyani. What made us different wasn’t just the food—it was the experience. Cooking live at the venue, serving fresh meals with heart, and treating every event like our own celebration.
Today, we’re proud to carry that legacy forward with a team of over 60 skilled staff members, many of whom have been with us for years.
